En 1453, la capitale byzantine qu’est Constantinople est entourée par l’Empire Ottoman. La ville n’est plus qu’une ombre de sa gloire passée en raison de la mauvaise gestion byzantine, tandis que l’Empire ottoman continue à s’enrichir. L’ambitieux et jeune sultan, Mehmet II lance sa campagne pour mettre fin à l’Empire byzantin et de prendre Constantinople qui devint Istanbul, saluant ainsi les dires du dernier Prophète.
